Coming off a great win on Sunday, the RPRY Panthers (7-0) were set to take on the Noam Knights (3-2) Monday 1/17 in the 1st game of a doubleheader.  The Panthers were ready to go from the start and jumped out to a 20-0 lead by the end of the 1st quarter keyed by aggressive defense.  Ally Orgel and Juliet Matthew led the starters in scoring in the 1st quarter while Dani Berlin cleaned up under the boards.  The bench came in for the 2nd quarter and kept up the pressure with 4 points each from Alissa Felder and Tamar Segal.  The 1st half ended with the score 32-10.  The starters came back in to start the 3rd quarter and thanks to a long assist from Dani Berlin, Elana Edery hit a fast break basket.  Elana sunk another basket and the starters went to the bench for the remainder of the game with 6 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.   Elana Salomon added a basket and the 3rd quarter ended with RPRY leading 38-14.  Jessie Orgel, Julia Labovitz and Avigayil Scheiner scored in the 4th quarter and everyone contributed in playing great defense against a much taller Noam team for a great win.  The final score was 50-18 as 11 different Panthers scored.  RPRY improves to 8-0 for the year with two regular season games remaining.  After winter vacation, Kushner will visit RPRY for a Saturday night doubleheader on February 4th starting at 7:30.
