The 6-0 RPRY Panthers returned home to take on Yavneh Academy (2-1) on Sunday 1/15. Dani Berlin and Elana Edery each had 4 points in the 1st quarter as RPRY took a 13-6 lead. Yavneh narrowed the gap in the 2nd quarter with some nice outside shooting to end the half with RPRY leading 18-14. It was 18-16 in the 3rd quarter when RPRY started to pull away with 6 points from Ally Orgel. Elana Edery scored on a nice feed from Juliet Matthew and the 3rd quarter ended with RPRY taking a 10 point lead 29-19. Alissa Felder led the scoring in the 4th quarter with 6 points as RPRY overcame Yavneh's full court press and added 17 points in the quarter. Tremendous defense by Shana Gershbaum, Alissa Felder and Jessie Orgel as they all took turns guarding Yavneh's top player. The final score was 46-17 as RPRY rolled to their 7th straight victory with 3 more games to go in the regular season.
RPRY's next game will be on Tuesday 1/17 vs Noam in the 1st game of a doubleheader.
